Our Comprehensive program approach ensures that in classroom lecture and “Hands – On” field study periods are better understood and student in class time is spent on more advanced topics.
 
  • Following our comprehensive “Hands - On" programs, students are better prepared to sit for BPI written and field exam(s).
  • EEC field exam(s) for BPI Certifications will be scheduled on an individual student basis through one of our BPI Certified Proctors.
  • All test equipment will be provided for the field class exercises and  field testing.
Due to the density of course and materials, students are encouraged to enroll a minimum of 2 weeks prior to class start date to familiarize themselves with the reference book and study materials in advance of the class.

Unlike large national test centers, we offer extended hands on field training and our experienced BPI professionals are personally here to offer not only  energy auditor / weatherization training, but after graduation advice and support with your new energy related career.
 
Required Student Supplied Materials:
Non graphing calculator capable of calculating square root, note pad, pencils, highlighter, 35' tape measure, clip board and flash light.
(Computers are available for testing)
 
Provided Materials:
We provide all training materials, and all necessary field diagnostic equipment.
(You are welcome to bring or ship in advance your own tools if you prefer).
EEC first attempt Written and Field exam(s) for BPI Certification is included in pricing.
Field exam(s) are scheduled on an individual student basis with one of our BPI Certified proctors.
 
Environmental Energy Consultants nor proctors determine pass or fail of final  written or field exam(s) this is a determination made by BPI.
 
PLEASE NOTE OUR CANCELLATION POLICY!
 
Cancellation Policy: Environmental Energy Consultants requires a 50% deposit of tuition cost to reserve your class space with the remaining 50% due before the 1st day of class.
Students who provide a written or e-mailed cancellation to Environmental Energy Consultants, LLC. and return all study materials unopened before the first day of the course will be refunded the amount received less a $100.00 processing fee.
Opening study materials will forfeit the full deposit as proprietary materials are included!
 
Transferring to another class is encouraged, all deposits will remain in effect. 
 
Please understand, our classes are kept small to ensure quality instruction and it is difficult to replace a student at the last minute.

Prerequisite: BPI Building Analyst Certification
This course prepares candidates for the BPI Envelope Certification exams.
Candidates learn to perform blower door guided air sealing, HVAC duct diagnostics and sealing, combustion safety testing
Pressure Differential (zonal) pressure diagnostics, proper insulation materials and techniques and BPI Envelope
