Weatherization Assistant 8.9 (NEAT/MHEA) - Basic
Course Description:
This course consists of one 8-hour day of hands-on in-person classroom instruction on the use of ORNL’s Weatherization Assistant 8.9 (NEAT/MHEA) computer energy modeling software program, including:
•Site data collection
•Client data input
•Building components data input
•Mechanical equipment data input
•Pre- / Post-retrofit heating/cooling load analysis
•Energy improvement input and results analysis
•Report generation and results analysis
•Savings to Investment Ratio (SIR)
•Utility cost calculation
•Measure library cost calculation
•Relevant programmatic requirements and documentation
Schedule:
8:30 am – 5:00 pm (30-minute lunch)
